The Shalya Tantra Laboratory is the surgical branch of Ayurveda and an essential department in BAMS colleges. It focuses on the study and practice of surgical procedures, including pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
This laboratory trains students in basic surgical skills, instrument handling, sterilization, and minor surgical procedures based on classical Ayurvedic texts like Sushruta Samhita.
